Zita Correll hosts the positive news happening today. She will interview Mo Regulinski about her Healing Avatars and her collaboration with VCU Health and the Virginia Commission for the Arts to promote leadership and power living with diabetes through the creative process. 

July 20 broadcasting on RVA Comcast Cable TV ch.95 & Verizon ch. 36 7:30-8:30. Mo will be interviewed between 8:00-8:30 pm

Meet other teens and young adults living with diabetes. These workshops get the hands busy creating  and teens with diabetes relating.

Healing Avatar workshops, presentations and think tank discussions bring patient-empowered fresh perspectives to medical self-care. 

Art and Fashion present a non-threatening  format to those who are challenged by medical compliance issues. Fashion is worn by  everybody.  Art opens the door to passion, problem solving, intellectual inquiry and fun. Experience seeing medical self-care in a new light.

Regalia combines contemporary fashion and medical disposables to create  feminine regalia with a medical narrative. Two additional presenters are Tim Harper, Kinetic Object Sculptor and Emily renown RVA muralist.
